Synchronized Skating

Our synchronized skating team, Dynamic Flair, has both Aspire and Open Juvenile levels. This allows us to offer new and more experienced skaters opportunities to showcase their talent, teamwork, and dedication while experiencing the exhilaration of synchronized skating.

Synchronized skating, or “synchro,” is an ice skating discipline where teams of 8 to 16 (or more) skaters perform a choreographed routine in unison. This is a wonderful way for figure skaters to compete as a team. The five primary synchro elements are block, circle, line, wheel, and intersection, each performed with specific handholds. As skaters progress through different levels, they will also learn how to transition smoothly between elements using multiple holds.

This year FSCSM is excited to launch two synchro teams, Aspire (for LTS level skaters) and Open Juvenile. While the season has already begun, skaters who wish to join either team are welcome to contact the team coaches for possible placement until September 1.
