New LOGO Contest!

Hello FSCSM Members!

We are excited to announce that we are launching a contest to identify a new club logo! We are asking that any club member that has a design idea submit their artwork no later than February 13 by email to fscsouthernmaryland@gmail.com for a chance to be our new club logo. All submissions will be shared with club members for a final vote.

For anyone who wishes to draw a new logo, that is perfectly fine. If your logo is chosen, we will have to take the drawn design and format it into a digital version. For those of you who have great computer skills, please see the logo submission guidelines below.

The new club logo will be featured on our website, jackets, club merchandise, photos, banners, and more.

Logo Submission Guidelines

File Format

• We will accept vector eps files (such as an Adobe Illustrator eps) with all fonts converted to outlines. This file format is preferred because vector-based art can be resized without degrading shape or color. Please note that Photoshop files can also be saved as .eps; however, they are raster and not vector files and therefore not accepted.

• For online usage only, you may also wish to submit a raster image file variation of your logo (such as an Adobe Photoshop file). The image file may be delivered in any of the following formats: psd, tiff, png, jpg, or gif. (Note that this is optional and in addition to the vector eps file, as raster image files cannot be used for large-scale items such as posters, signs, banners, etc.)

Colors

• 4-color (CMYK) logo. (Please note colors may not reproduce accurately in print if logos are RGB.)

Size

• The logo must be a minimum of 2" wide or 2" high (whichever is the larger proportion) at 300 dpi.
